As Larson says a paper is never finished, it can always be revised. On the contrary Mork says that a paper can always be finished so it can be put out of your life and out of your mind. I agree with Mork personally because if I leave something unfinished it will eat at me for the rest of my life until the day I cease to remember anything or cease to exist. I do think that that things should eventually be let go in life so things can move on.
When is it time to move on?

ReplyDeleteI agree, things can always be improved, but we have to consider school projects a test of how good we can make something in a given amount of time. It might eat at you forever if you think "I should have added...". Ya gotta let it go after the thing is turned in. You cannot return to a history test after it's finished and make it better. And you can't worry too much about how well it will be graded. I resolved that my diploma may depend on it but not my life.
