I know this is still on everyone's mind, my question may be answered relatively quickly but I was wondering. Why do colleges in Europe and other places seem to be a lot less expensive? Some granted will always be more expensive because of their legacy, but general colleges like the university of Minnesota are a lot less expensive. This may be because they offer different things, but I have not looked into them much. So that is just the question pending right now, Why do other countries seem to have a less expensive education program?
Perhaps the currency of foreign nations is weaker? No, that's not the case in either the EU or the UK. However, some European nations offer socialized education, like Sweden and Denmark. This only applies to citizens, though...
ReplyDeleteMaybe these colleges are less in it for the money and more wanting to get their name "out there".
