Racism

At what point do things become pointless, or lose the meaning in which they initially were intended to bring?

In English class today we had that.... and now his name escapes me..... talk to us about racism and micro-isms. Also what got introduced to the class was the spelling of woman which some people spell womyn because it is taking the man out of the word, which initially means derived from man. At what point do these "radicals" try and change a language to take "man" out of it? What if they were fed up with every single "man" that was inside a word and changed all of the A's with a different vowel?

At what point do campaigns or reforms in life become "pointless" in lack of a better term?

  1. If we can respect each other as equals, then we won't have any "isms". Radicals only get their say if they become vocal and widely accepted. Some things can change, but they might take years...
